With the eviction of 18 contestants, who participated in the auditioning process to have qualified to enter the Housemates Salone 2019 competition, 22 successfully made it to the House and right at this moment they are in there with every one of them doing his or her own thing to make him or her endearing to viewers who are at liberty to vote freely, via Africell, for an Housemate of their choice.
This latest and dramatic increase of the number of Housemates to 22 came as a big surprise contrary to the widespread notion that it would have been 20 Housemates.
Inside the House, the Housemates are expected to display strong language, nudity and mature humour in a natural way other than by faking such. They are expected to do so convincingly to capture the votes of the majority here and in the Diaspora within the 6 weeks they will be staying in the House.
There will come a stage when elimination shall commence during which phase Housemates with the lowest number of votes will be asked out of the House and those that scoop the highest number of votes will stay but that would be done systematically, not even in a day’s time, meaning it is not a one off affair. However, it is worthy to note that for each single day that a Housemate stays in the House he or she is entitled to bag Le100, 000.
Housemate Salone is now being aired live on AYV Television Channel 34 on a daily basis.
The covetous prize that is up for grabs and which all the Housemates are eyeing is One Hundred Million Leones (Le 100,000,000).
From what transpired on the 14th February 2019 at the Atlantic Lumley Hotel, when the elimination of 18 of the participants out of the 40 that were shortlisted was done, leaving a balance of 22 that are presently in the House it is undoubtedly obvious that Housemates Salone 2019 is going to be BIG, INTERESTING and INTRIGUING.
The Atlantic Lumley Hotel was impressively jam-packed with the crème-de-la-crème depicting the high level of support that this first of its kind show is having which is organized by the African Young Voices(AYV) and Africell.
Fans from within the entertainment landscape are really commending the Africa Young Voices and Africell for organizing such a TV Reality Show which has been taking place in countries like Nigeria and South Africa for a couple of years now.
According to what was stated at the Atlantic Hotel by those who made short statements the primary focus and objective of the organizers of this TV Reality Show is geared towards fostering or enhancing Youth Empowerment, and provide the platform for young people to showcase what they can do naturally as well as uniquely.
Indisputably, Sierra Leoneans in-country and overseas, are definitely going to stay glued to AYV Channel 34 to watch the six weeks series of performances by the Housemates and they will definitely be excited to vote via the Africell.
It is important to reiterate that Big Brother is highly competitive and is an elimination contest with the determinant factor having to do with the number of votes that a particular Housemate pulls.
Obviously, it is obvious that in the finally analysis the successful winner will be expected to serve as a role model in society who could champion a project to improve an aspect of the standard of living of young people in the country and may even serve as an entertainment ambassador to represent the country in such social competitions overseas.
The Housemates Salone TV Reality Show is now in full gear, though the tempo is slowly developing ,however it will reach a crescendo, as the weeks roll by. It is an event that is going to be packed with suspense, fun, tense moments, display of creativity, humour and natural instincts.
Sierra Leone is really trying to catch up with modern trends and is steadily making progress though the challenges are daunting. Thanks to the African Young Voices and Africell.
